Aaron is a structural engineer who believes our industry needs more than technical knowledge — it needs wisdom. The kind that comes from years on the ground, solving real problems, working with real builders, and understanding how design decisions play out in the real world.
 
Across his career, he has delivered structural solutions for residential, commercial, and complex multidisciplinary projects (Ranging from $1M-$500M), working closely with architects, builders, developers, and government stakeholders. That experience has shaped how he thinks: practical first, technically strong, and always focused on buildability and clarity.

It is why Aaron founded Forte Engineering — to bring that depth of experience and judgement back into the engineering process.

One of his favourite sayings sums it up well:
“Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit; wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad.”

Engineering is no different. It’s not just what you know — it’s knowing how, when, and why to apply it.
